Metal chip shredding and briquetting system
How to solve the problem of Metal chip shredding and briquetting system?
Scrap metal chips generated in machining processes include iron chips, aluminum chips, steel chips, alloy chips, and other types of shavings. These constitute discarded resources and are produced in large quantities during machining production projects, accounting for about 20% of metal castings and sometimes even as high as 30%. Metal chips have a high level of purity in their composition and contain much higher levels of content compared to any ore. Generally, they are treated as waste, but they hold significant recycling value. This is particularly true for various alloy casting enterprises, where the self-recycling of metal chips holds even greater significance.
However, the process of recycling and reusing metal chips also brings about a series of issues. Loose metal chips occupy a large space, leading to high transportation costs. Metal chips containing waste fluids are classified as hazardous waste. Apart from polluting the environment, they also trigger environmental regulatory scrutiny. Both metal chips and mixed cutting oils are high-value recyclable materials, but they fetch low direct selling prices, resulting in minimal profits. Directly incinerating metal chips in a furnace leads to long combustion times, emission of black smoke, and high oxidation rates, which in turn contribute to resource wastage.

Machined Metal Chip Processing System Components
Metal Chip Briquetting Machine
This machine directly compacts metal chips into briquettes using hydraulic pressure. It employs a gate-style pushing system, ensuring high speed and efficiency, and is equipped with a residual liquid collection system.
Chip Crushing Machine
This machine reduces metal chips from large to small sizes. It boasts powerful equipment dynamics, stable operation, and features such as strong cutting force, effective crushing, and minimal noise.
Chip Briquetting and Baling Machine
Utilizing hydraulic power, this machine compresses loose scrap chips into compacted blocks, reducing material volume and lowering transportation costs. It offers efficient compression force and high-speed baling capabilities.
Oil Removal Machine
By utilizing centrifugal force, this machine separates metal chips from oil. It employs PLC and touchscreen control, allowing effective regulation of the drying time. The oil content in the metal chips after drying is maintained at below 5%.
Chain Plate Conveyor
Designed with chain plates, this conveyor ensures clean and uniform material feeding. It operates in a closed system, preventing any liquid or chip leakage and safeguarding against corrosive effects of chip fluids/oil on the conveyor.
Chip/Clean Oil Collection Tank
This tank facilitates basic filtration of chip fluids/oil, incorporating a dual-stage filter design. It enables the recovery of chip fluids, automatically drawing fluids when they reach a certain level on the liquid scale.
